The activities in the IZeF are based on internal rules of procedure which stipulate that the scientific and administrative management of the IZeF is the responsibility of a board of directors and that the work is supported by an internal scientific advisory board and an external scientific advisory board. We are pleased that both the board of directors and the advisory boards of the IZeF can be characterised by several years of commitment on the part of individual participants and by an increase in the number of new members on a regular basis. The researchers, all renowned in their specific fields of research, represent a broad spectrum of diverse specialist expertise and, thus, enable a comprehensive consideration and discussion of the relevant research fields and questions.
